This is a great product. I was after a small shed to replace an old broken timber century type shed which really was too small. I chose this shed due to its size to fit where I required in my garden , colour and material as other people had said how strong and sturdy the shed was (they were not wrong) My son who is a carpenter (I think this helped) erected the shed in approximately 1 and half hours. To be honest the price seemed to be a bit salty, but it was in line with other retailers, so I went ahead and ordered it anyway, and I'm glad I did!! It's becoming all to rare to find a product that gives value for money these days and this IS one of those products. I managed to build it myself with occasional help from my wife, but it'd be a bit quicker with two people working together. As I was building it the quality and fit of the parts was exceptionally good, with only the occasional donkey from a rubber mallet to close the plastic panels together. Which is actually a good point because it shows the tolerances of the parts are nice and snug. All the metal parts like the hinges and hasp were of good thick steel which in turn gives the whole thing a sense of quality that'll last more than a couple of years. The way this box has been cleverly designed means there's no fasteners showing anywhere on the outside, so any would be thieves won't be able to unscrew it to get at your hard earned valuables. Which is very important to me because I'm storing two electric bicycles and a mountain bike. Which will remain nice and dry because the lid overlaps the box all the way round.. This is a very sturdy and robust storage box and I think it looks well. The lid is well constructed, rigid and tbh I can't see there being any issues with it sagging over time. The lid opening is also assisted with good quality hydraulic hinges which means it is easy to open and will stay open for you without flapping about. It also comes fitted with a hasp lock so it can be locked shut. Although I've only had it a few weeks, it has already been exposed to its fair share of wet stormy weather and it managed to keep all the contents nice and dry inside. Note however this unit is advertised as weather proof... not waterproof. It is plastic on plastic... there are no rubber seals, but as long as it's not going to be sitting submerged in a puddle of water it will be grand. The underside of the base plastic is waffled to give it more strength, but it also means it provides good drainage for any water which might seep below the box. If like mine, the box will be sitting on timber decking, this means the boards will be less likely to rot underneath. Overall very pleased with the box and I think it will last me many years. The lid did come with a few cosmetic scrapes on delivery (it happens) but they very quickly sent out a replacement lid with no hassle. I was quite disappointed with this purchase. The storage space is not weatherproof, as expected, being made up of slatted wood with approximately 1cm gaps.
