The Aerocover Support Pole Set consists of a support pole and an 8 piece set of sandbags. The support pole is designed to be placed in the centre of your table, with your garden furniture Aerocover on top, allowing the water to run off, and stop pooling of water which would eventually penetrate the cover. Once the sandbags have been filled with sand, using the clever clips provided attached to the hem of your cover to provide extra weight to hold the cover in place. You can position the sandbag where needed most. Used together with an Aerocover its a useful accessory to help protect your garden furniture.

  • Plastic and ripstop polyester
  • Breathable protection
  • Water resistant
  • Protects against UV rays
  • Drawstring stopper ensuring tight fit

The plastic pole could be made with a thicker plastic, but it will probably be strong enough to last a few years. The weights are just empty bags that need filling. The instructions advise filling these with sand, but as you can see from my photos the sand seems to be washing out- so I suggest using horticultural grit or gravel to fill the bags. The main problem is that the clips used for holding the weights are tricky to use. I have a thick plastic cover over the furniture and the clips wont hold in the way they are supposed to, that is with the weights hanging inside the cover, with the circular bit clipping on the outside. With a very thin cover this might be possible- but not with a half decent one. I gave 3 stars only because essentially it does seem to do the job of keeping rain from accumulating, but the lack of a decent description on Wayfair and the poor clip design was frustrating. Also, it is quite expensive for what it is. Hint: hang the weights between the chair backs to create small channels for the rain to drain off.. A. Poole, GB. 2020-10-03 10:28:26
