Only been set up two days! So far really good. At first we keep on pressing buttons for quite a while even though it was making noise like it was working! Nothing was happening then I realised there is a sticker looking like the real thing over the controls! Pulled it off and away we go! . Vektra have been improving their product over the years, and this is a better build than the first insulated kettle I got off them several years ago. Plus points are the wider range of temperatures you can select: and now I have run this item for a few weeks since purchase I can say that it is a super good insulated kettle - the water is usefully hot for hours afterwards. I am not going to downgrade this to 4* for the next comment, either, as that feels an unfair rating. My original kettle had a number to show how much liquid was inside the kettle. I miss that feature. Those of you who have solar panels will know how to exploit the fact that this kettle is NOT 3kW: and by being under 2kW power it is more effective for those people (I am one btw). The movable knob at the bottom will alter the temperature. Very happy it looks amazing in our kitchen.
