I'm very pleased with this rug. Gorgeous colour. One review mentions very sparse thread and you can see the backing. Yes, you can (see photos) but only if you spread the threads! The edging also shows how far apart the weave is but you cannot see it when it's left alone. See the photos of the edging (3rd & 4th photo) Due to it being rolled up for delivery, the edges were abit curled, but after putting some weights on it for about an hour, the problem was sorted. It's a lovely size, make sure you measure up your space and purchase the correct size. I'm glad I went for the slightly bigger one (80cmx150cm) and still a great price! It's a long shaggy pile carpet and as you can see by the photos, my dog loves it too! The floor is tiling and I've not needed any slip proof cover underneath as the weight of the rug keeps it in place. If you were to run about or use it on a wood floor or tile floor where there's alot of foot traffic, then I would advise a non slip base. When I first opened the package I thought the curtains looked nice however when I hung them they looked scruffy. One of the curtains was really wonky along the bottom which was strange because they had looked even and straight when folded. I realised that it was because the eyelets are not in alignment. Most of them are off but one in particular was noticeably lower so that the bottom edge of the curtains hung badly. I was not satisfied with the quality of these curtains.
