Aesthetics (5/5): - The Kobe bed looks fantastic - just like in the advertisement pictures. Assembly (4.5/5): - The bed can be assembled by 1 person. But it's advisable to do it with at least 2 persons. - The instruction manual is clear enough. Although certain screws were included but not shown how to be used. I believe those screws are for helping keeping the slats in place. Durability (4.5/5): - The bed frame and base are solid wood. However, the frame is essentially connected to the base by just 36 screws (6 screws per leg). But you can add more screws for more support if desired. - It would have been stronger if the frame and base are connected using mortise and tenon joints.
