This is a SMOKER not a bbq. I was dubious about purchasing this smoker after reading reviews that you can only get it up to 100°. All i can say is i cannot fault it in any way. Instructions aren't the best but if you have ever put any flat pack together then it's not difficult. I used it yesterday for the first time. Pre lit the coals using a chimney then dumped um in. I did this 2 further times over the course of my 10 hour smoke. With a little adjusting it was holding at 125 to 135 constantly. I only needed to adjust the top vents to regulate. This is the first time i have ever used a smoker and this is true value for money. I did a pork shoulder and beef short Ribs. Both were excellent. Still need to play around with the smoking wood but cannot fault this smoker in any way. Use decent lump wood charcoal, not the easy light stuff and you won't be disappointed. 5*****. ryan.
