This review is to give a 5 stars to Wayfair! The bed is excellent value for the price much better than one I paid a lot more for through a certain online discount group. You get exactly what it says - but you get a lot more because of Wayfair's excellent customer service. We had trouble with one of the gas lift pistons - unbeknown to us it was faulty but caused one of the side struts to completely bend. I contacted Wayfair, they took details the customer service rep gave me his direct email and a phone contact. I emailed him pictures of what had happened and they replied confirming the new parts were ordered and would be delivered. I was skeptical but shouldn't have been. Wayfair replaced the whole side of the bed, including a new white faux leather panel which we didn't expect but had been damaged by the piston failure. It has been replaced and works perfectly. Lovely looking bed. The headboard is a bit shorter than expected, however, looks lovely in our room. The bed also came with a QR code to scan with a video of the build, great touch! Really happy with the bed. Took me and my OH about 2 hours to put together (minimal help from me). It’s not as sturdy as my previous bed that I got from Bensons in the same price range but I’m very happy with it. Under the bed doesn’t have any boards to put things on, it’s just a Velcro material thing which is basically pointless. The sides are a little more flimsy than the last bed I had but still stable enough. Overall I’m really happy with my new bed. Looks much more expensive for the price. Seems very sturdy, no creaks or squeaks. It took me and my husband a few hours to assemble but the illustrated instructions arent the clearest. The material is a linen type in a mid-grey colour, its not the most luxurious material but has a fine textured appearance which I think looks really nice. Arrived super quick (box slightly damaged in transit so my heart sank a little on delivery but there was no damage to interior parts). All in all I think it is really good quality and rivals the likes of popular high street home store brands which would be much more than double the price for a similar specification.. Lois.
