I have had large fibreglass pots before at my last home,I sold them with my home because I had large well established grape vines in them. I particularly like the pots because they look like an authentic terracotta pot but at a fraction of the price. Unlike plastic pots they do not seem to fade and they can stand the rigours of a cold winter without cracking or splitting. I am sure you will not be disappointed in quality if you wish to purchase. Great planter, looks good, nice and light weight however does not come with the stand and is not a stand alone either. They should be sold together, the stand itself for what it is, is very pricey. UPDATE 3 years later and Wayfair are still selling plastic pots as clay. They might tell you that theres clay used in the process but plastic is plastic. Ordered two of the purple clay pots. Unfortunately I didnt look at the reviews before ordering them. When they arrived I was so disappointed to find that they were not clay but PLASTIC. What is even more disappointing, is that in a review from a year ago it was stated that the description on these items would be changed as it was misleading. Unfortunately for me and others like me this doesnt appear to have been done. I am keeping the pots because they are a beautiful colour. They would have been more beautiful if they were clay..
