Brilliant product, protects the cushions well from the rain and we ordered the large size and it fits in all the cushions from our 8 seater sofa. As well as 6 seat pads from the dining table, with room to spare. Instructions aren't very good, make sure you have all the sides in the correct order before screwing together. This is the second outdoor storage box I have bought in the last month. The first was from B&Q, unfortunately almost none of my chair cushions would fit it. So I purchased this one. It is not as well made, and I'm not convinced it will keep the cushions dry. The interior plastic cover is not great, does not seal and is attached with velcro that is off centre from each other. The lid, unlike the B&Q item that has strong bar arms to keep it open, only has to bits of string. I have only kept it as I require its size, but most likely will have to by a different bag to cover the cushions from the weather and at some point replace the bits of string with something better. It is also quite high, so does not make a good multi purpose item, as it is too high for a coffee table / storage box and also too high to double as a bench / storage box. Quick delivery. We are using this indoors as a blanket box, as we cannot find a large enough blanket box online. However the smell of the wood stain is taking some shifting. Will have to put it outside on a fine day to air off. The sides are plywood and in my opinion would not last a winter outside. The big problem is that the hinges are the wrong type and simply will not operate correctly on this item even with amendments. You can see from the photo the issue. If you lower the hinge from its designated position it won’t close the lid at all as it catches at the back. I have fitted kitchens and bathrooms for a living for over twenty years and can work my way around these types of problems, and now have the lid opening and closing well, but it does not sit properly on the box when closed, but fortunately due to the lip that goes around the top it isn’t noticeable.
