Looks very nice and compliments our living space, but overpriced for what it is (minus 1 star). Easy to assemble, about 2hrs on my own. The two boxes arrived a bit tattered and patched up with parcel tape, not a real issue, but not what I expected from Wayfair, and a couple of the shelves were slightly scuffed, although hard to see when assembled, but that’s not the point (minus another star). Overall it’s a very nice ladder shelf unit but on closer inspection when building it up, it did come with a few chips in the laminate and a strange black dye which is smeared in places. I think it is used to rub into the laminate edges to create a seamless finish but it was all over a couple of the shelves (this may have just been a one off though and not on others out there) The unit is very strong and sturdy and the dark grey colour is very nice, it makes plants and ornaments stand out nicely. I would buy it again but unfortunately just had to drop a star for the chips in the laminate, apart from that a very nice item (can assemble with one person but a second pair of hands makes it less awkward). **Please Read** I absolutely LOVE this shelf! I was almost put off by some negatives I had read in regards to building and how some of the screws didn’t fit correctly, what I will say is I’m a 24year old inexperienced flat pack builder and I managed just fine! Yes doing it alone is slightly more fiddley having to hold pieces in place and screw at the same time but honestly I built this within the hour! JUST SOME ADVICE for anyone thinking to buy.. the back criss cross design was slightly difficult when I was trying to screw in how the piece came, what I did quickly realise is if u pull on the middle slightly to pull the criss cross back out you will fit this with absolute ease!
