I ordered three duvets to find the best quality and this one I found was the best because the feathers are actually stitched in squares so the feathers can’t go down to the bottom of the duvet they are permanently in place , the duvet is covered in stitching of squares filled with feathers I would highly recommend this days. Outer cotton cover is v.good quality. However, poorly filled! Feather and Down filling fails to spread across all pocketsareas of the duvet. Loads of square pockets have no or very little filling, even with a good shake, so sections of the duvet feel like a sheet rather than a duvet. 3 stars for quality of materials and soft, lightweight feel.. Spent a lot of money on this duvet thinking it would be amazing but it’s not as good as I expected. I’ve had feather duvets in the past and loved them so i decided to splash out and treat myself to this. It’s not as warm as I’d hoped for. Some of the sew’d cubes don’t seem to have as many feathers in as others. Also it goes very flat at the top (head end) so I have to change the top to the bottom every time I wash the bedding, it doesn’t really make any difference when I shake it each morning when making the bed. I received the quilt and pillows this morning. We decided to treat ourselves with the bedding on our new bed (which is being delivered on Sunday 18th Feb) especially since we spend a third of our lives asleep It was important for us bith to have 100 cotton and for it to feel luxurious. Upon opening the parcel, I was pleasantly met by a super soft jacquard cover, lovely, and the finished edges of the quilt and pillows are done to a high standard. The filling feels light and airy but still has a nice weight to add to our comfort. The pillows are filled plumply, and are perfect for us in terms of firmness, but as yet we havent actually slept on them – I will update after a few weeks. Also worth mentioning is the difference in packaging, when they arrived the quilt was in a zipped mesh carry bag, on the site its in a box.
