Lovely lamp but too many little bits to assemble. Surely this could have been simplified. The two golden screws that hold the uplight in place are miniscule and kept dropping and getting lost. I could hear something rattling around inside the uplighter shade and ultimately had to dismantle the entire thing only to find theres a tiny little piece which should hold the led light cover in place but it had fallen out because the tiny screw that held that bit in place was missing. Overall took me half an hour of unnecessary fiddling about and I finally got it together with the bulbs in. Since there is a screw missing one of the holders for the build is just resting on the uplight and not screwed in. It hasnt affected the lighting and now that its all set up it looks gorgeous and Ive had a load of compliments on it.. Anonymous. . 2024-10-23 00:56:01

The lights arrived all intact which was very good as the glass shade is quite delicate. (Packaged well). The lights are a neat finish to our walls with that 1930s look that we wanted for our 1930s house :) However, what was disappointing was the up light. Due to the fact that the light bulb and has to be placed sideways the wall lights do not display the full angle of light as shown in the pictures. This is not explained in the light specifications. It is about 110 degrees up the wall with more to one side. The fittings inside the shade cast a shadow on the glass shade. We have kept the lights as the shadow is not seen as you enter the room.
