Delivery was excellent, they brought it up to my 4th floor flat (stairs only), gold star to them. Mattress Kingsize very firm and comfortable as l have back problems, l do like the fact of it being Eco friendly as my last mattress would be terrible on the enviroment. l had the best night's sleep and still continue to do so. Perfect mattress for me. I suffer from an extremely bad back and mattresses are a bit of a nightmare for me. Trying them instore for just a few minutes, then taking a gamble paying anywher up to £800 odd only to find out they dont work for me in the long run, is not fun! Took a gamble on this pure memory foam and am so happy with it. The price for the mattress is superb. Its thin, which put me off also, but firm, yet it allows me to sink into it where needed without sinking too much (like a previous pocket sprung memory foam mattress). It comes kind of vaccum packed so you need to allow a day or two fot it to inflate. You also need to allow an extra 4 days (approx) for a chemical smell to wear off. Not sure what it is, other reviews have said the same. I personally took it as reassurance that its a very clean mattress due to the smell. Its a very very strong smell and I needed to leave windows open whenever possible. Once gone however, the matress is absolutely great, I would not take any review stars off for the smell personally, as I believe its part of the new alergy free cleanliness / dust free packing perhaps? Soiled and damaged upon delivery. I was disappointed to receive this item in damaged condition. It looks like the tear could even have occurred in the warehouse prior to transit because the outside packaging was taped up. I was informed that they wouldn't be able to deliver another one for a month. However, they did offer a reasonable refund, so I attempted self-repair and after suitably cleaning and patching it up I'm able to use it. The item itself is comfortable. Quite firm when new, however my old mattress was quite soft in comparison. So far I've experienced a reduction in back pain and I believe my posture is starting to improve too. In a nutshell, I'm currently happy with the comfort of the item, and the customer service was very good. However I'm not happy with the condition that the item was delivered in, the delivery time could have been better. The mattress is a comfort to sleep .I have lower back and shoulder pain. The mattress is firm however the pillow top is nice soft which helps with the shoulder and back pain. Very disappointed with the delivery. It was not raining when they came to deliver but had rained earlier. The delivery guys rested the mattress on the wet muddy ground outside the house. Plastic covering was torn in couple places . Water and mud seeped through the torn plastic on to mattress. Only noticed after the delivery guys left. Without any consideration, bringing the mattress in, the delivery guys walked in the house with muddy shoes. Shocking when youv'e spent so much money on a mattress and then gets delivered like this .
