Its aluminum frame is powder coated and has a crank that allows you to easily open, close, and tilt the umbrella. Using a cast-iron swivel joint in the foot pedal, the parasol can be rotated 360 degrees. Delivery includes an opaque protection cover with a zip fastener and pole for easy storage.

This parasol is everything and more than we had expected. The recent beautifully hot spring weather, whilst hugely welcome, very quickly rendered our sheltered West facing terrace in London almost unusable for much of the day, so after exhaustive online research, we hit upon the very sturdily built and ingeniously versatile Rhodos Junior. Seamlessly delivered, stylish and fairly easy to put together (although understandably heavy), it provides welcome shade at all the different angles we need during the day on our sun-trap of a terrace. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a large and moveable source of shade. Do make sure first though that you have enough room for the substantial base (1mx1m square) if you're using it in a smaller space. What I would warn any potential buyer of is how difficult it is to find the 4x25kg paving stones which are required to balance it at the bottom. I spent days trying to find them online and finally my builder friend had to locate them for me.
