This is a very sturdy and robust storage box and I think it looks well. The lid is well constructed, rigid and tbh I can't see there being any issues with it sagging over time.
The lid opening is also assisted with good quality hydraulic hinges which means it is easy to open and will stay open for you without flapping about. It also comes fitted with a hasp lock so it can be locked shut.
Although I've only had it a few weeks, it has already been exposed to its fair share of wet stormy weather and it managed to keep all the contents nice and dry inside.
Note however this unit is advertised as weather proof... not waterproof. It is plastic on plastic... there are no rubber seals, but as long as it's not going to be sitting submerged in a puddle of water it will be grand.
The underside of the base plastic is waffled to give it more strength, but it also means it provides good drainage for any water which might seep below the box. If like mine, the box will be sitting on timber decking, this means the boards will be less likely to rot underneath.
Overall very pleased with the box and I think it will last me many years. The lid did come with a few cosmetic scrapes on delivery (it happens) but they very quickly sent out a replacement lid with no hassle.
