This was quite straight forward to build - holds a good amount of CDs (literally took ALL of mine down to the last space and CD). Good height and pretty sturdy. Would look fine in most locations as long as you have a straight wall. I imagine it would be best on solid, non-carpet floors due to the height and width of it. Best not to get for anything other than CDs if you want to be able to use all of the space. It will not take DVDs or other media formats, unless you take out the shelves (which is easy to do as they are placed, not fixed (8 of the shelves can move/be removed). Its compact for a small space. Tidy looking cabinet, nice colour wood roughly a light to medium oak. Will have to be fixed to a wall or would topple.
