Delivery was excellent, they brought it up to my 4th floor flat (stairs only), gold star to them. I’m really pleased with this orthopaedic mattress. You have to wait 48 hours for the harmless scent to dissipate in a well ventilated room so my first night on it was last night. Im 34 with all over rheumatoid arthritis and straight away my joints could feel how supportive it was. Even my hips & spine felt better aligned. In terms of firmness I’d say it’s on the firmer end of the medium-firm scale but this is what I needed to take pressure off my joints, particularly as a side sleeper and on my shoulders. I’ve also noticed today I woke up with no tension in my neck which genuinely hasn’t happened in many years. In terms of depth, I’m glad I went for a deeper mattress than my last one as I found sitting up and getting out of bed this morning was that bit easier. I’m really optimistic it will stand the test of time but the 10 year warranty (which is fantastic as when researching I noticed most offer a year or two) gives me great peace of mind. Price wise I’m very impressed. I’d highly recommend this mattress to anyone with a musculoskeletal condition whose a side sleeper and needs a lot of boxes ticked.. Samantha. This mattress is firm but as I have spine disease this is perfect to ease my aches and pains, I went for the super king and it came in a tiny box but fluffs up really nice, best to leave it for 24hrs but once its settled its 25cm which is perfect for the frame I bought from here, see my other reviews, extremely happy with my purchase. The mattress arrived rolled up in good time as expected. I unrolled it and left it to expand for 8-10 hours after which it was still very hard and measured in at 13cm instead of the 15-20cm as advertised. I left it for a further day to see it it would improve and the mattress remained at 13cm. 3 fairly uncomfortable sleeps later I've resorted to buying a 5cm silent night memory foam mattress topper which has vastly improved how comfy it is. The 2 layers of 2.5cm foam on top of the high density foam is just not adequate in my opinion and although I'm covered by the 100 night sleep guarantee, I need to get some sleep while I try and get used to it. Hopefully it improves over time as I'm wearing it in, but the thickness concerns me and I won't hold my breath.
