I’m really pleased with this orthopaedic mattress. You have to wait 48 hours for the harmless scent to dissipate in a well ventilated room so my first night on it was last night. Im 34 with all over rheumatoid arthritis and straight away my joints could feel how supportive it was. Even my hips & spine felt better aligned. In terms of firmness I’d say it’s on the firmer end of the medium-firm scale but this is what I needed to take pressure off my joints, particularly as a side sleeper and on my shoulders. I’ve also noticed today I woke up with no tension in my neck which genuinely hasn’t happened in many years. In terms of depth, I’m glad I went for a deeper mattress than my last one as I found sitting up and getting out of bed this morning was that bit easier. I’m really optimistic it will stand the test of time but the 10 year warranty (which is fantastic as when researching I noticed most offer a year or two) gives me great peace of mind. Price wise I’m very impressed. I’d highly recommend this mattress to anyone with a musculoskeletal condition whose a side sleeper and needs a lot of boxes ticked.. Samantha. I got a dormeo mattress topper about a month ago, that opened my eyes to the possibility of living with less back and hip pain, after a month of hardcore research i pulled the trigger and got this to go on my new small double bed and I've not woke up with a throbbing hip since, I'm not saying I'm cured (i wish) but quality of life is 10x better sleeping on the correct mattress, the people saying it's softer upside down or etc obviously expected a cloud like experience, this is for people who know what a bad back is and need a premium mattress, but even better still, it's a quarter of the price of the big named brands.. Mattress is great, I was a bit doubtful as previous reviews seem to be a paid promotion. It’s lovely and thick, it is quite solid though I’d say more towards the end of the scale of firm medium. Very very heavy, and the smell it talks about on the paperwork really does linger. I absolutely recommend this to anyone, I’d say it’s right up there with the Emmasimba mattresses. Anonymous.
