The table is excellent and looks great too, but it takes me some time to think about how to assemble it because it is split into three parts—the top, legs and base. It would help if you started building from the top to the base, not the base to the top. The Chairs have excellent quality, although the legs are a bit squiggly; overall, it's a fantastic dining set. The gorgeous rectangular  glass table top, silhouetted by the rectangular  base, combine beautifully to create a symmetrical centrepiece.Upholstered in soft touch velvet and finished with diamond pattern stitching the Milan dining chairs would seamlessly fit in with most dining spaces, whilst not compromising on either style or comfort. Looks great and easy to assemble. I needed a new table in a hurry. I thought I left it too late for Christmas, but it arrived with two days to spare. Assembly - The parts are heavy, but it's possible to tackle the bulk of the assembly single handedly. All the holes are well machined and the fixings strong and well made. The table goes together quickly (about 10 minutes excluding unpacking and sorting). You'll need 2 people to manage the top and final lift. I appreciated the extra bolts and washers too - didn't need them, but handy to have. Chairs are great. Again easy to assemble and held together with strong fixings. Took me about 10 minutes per chair. Once assembled the table and chairs look great. Love the black glass top, very Death Star. Chairs a comfortable too and the finish of everything is great. Size wise it will sit six with ease and everyone has plenty of space. The top looked to be tough (tempered glass) and should resist scratches in normal use. It cleans very easily with a microfibre cloth. The only downside is the inevitable amount of packing that comes with it. Much of it is expanded polystyrene. I guess it's necessary for such a big item, but not the most green choice. This is a small gripe and doesn't affect the product in any way. So, summary time: Great table, with modern looks. We are super happy with our new dining table and chairs. We purchased the brown wood effect table with 6 gold/mustard chairs with black legs. The table and chairs are absolutely beautiful. The table is solid, of good quality and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye too. The chairs are extremely comfortable and have a beautiful velour material finish to the seat. As a whole piece it is an absolutely stunning piece of furniture that you can be proud of to have in your home. This dining room and chair set came within a couple of days of ordering too. Delivery was on time and the two guys delivering were careful when unloading the boxed furniture from the van into our house. The table and chairs were flat packed and packaged carefully to minimise risk of any damage in transit. We found it easy to assemble too. Therefore overall the whole experience from ordering to delivery and self assembly was a postive experience for us. We had already purchased another item previously from Wayfair and were very impressed so had confidence to make this purchase. We will definately be purchasing from Wayfair in the future.. Chairs are lovely and comfortable, table is not high gloss though! I expected it to be smooth and glossy looking as per description which states ‘high gloss’ but it actually is rigged and textured- not sure what it’s made of but not the glossy faux marble I was expecting …...
