I really like this bed it’s affordable, sturdy and stylish. It’s not too difficult to build, I put it together in about 1hr on my own. The head board came with small scratches and wayfair offered me discount if I was prepared to keep it which was fair of them. I added a solid base as I find slats can move and break. This is an amazing bed. I'm so pleased with the purchase. It's really sturdy and doesn't squeak or creak at all! I was a little concerned with the height as I've not had a low profile bed before, but it is absolutely fine and weirdly, actually easier to get out of. I normally prefer a footboard with my bed, but since nowhere seemed to have any stock and I desperately needed a bed, I opted for this one and I am pleasantly surprised. I was worried that the duvet would hang off the end and look untidy, but everything about it looks lovely. It was assembled by one person within 30 minutes. The instructions and parts were clearly labelled and everything was extremely well packaged and had individual wrapping and protection, so no chips or dents in the bed. It also comes with spare bolts, that are actually labelled as spare, so you don't wonder why you have some left over. Also, for anyone concerned about purchasing a wood bed and worrying about how 'orange' the finish is (as can be the case some pine), this isn't at all. It's a lovely neutral toned, dark brown - perhaps a tiny bit darker than the picture, but not much and probably depends on your room and lighting. Overall, I am extremely happy with this and believe that considering the quality of the product, the ease to put together and the care taken with packaging, that this is an absolute bargain at the price.
