This is a fantastic bed! I did so much research to find the right bed to give my girl a comfortable space for her recovery after being spayed. She is a 30kg German Shepherd and I got the XL, as you can see from the photograph she has plenty of space to sprawl out, I have covered it with a blanket due to the op but it has such a lovely soft cover that is easily removed for washing. Delivery was a day earlier than expected. Bed itself is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. I have purchased several dog beds for my 10 yr old staffy that claim this and that but I nor my dog has been happy with them. Having read the other reviews, we decided to take a gamble on these beds - buying dog beds always feels like a gamble, how long they'll last, will the dogs trash them, will they wash well etc. I have to say though that they are very well made, look great, and the dogs LOVE them, they certainly keep their body heat within the bed, and protect from all external drafts. In fact they love them so much they didn't want to get up on Christmas morning to open their presents, far too snug ( see photo).
