I bought this as a replacement for my Heritage kettle that kept peeling along the top where the lid is. It looks really nice on my hob, and I love the whistle which reminds me of my childhood. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t shut itself off like a regular kettle, so you can’t leave it and jump in the shower for instance. That said I knew that when I bought it and have no regrets.. This kettle is stunning. It makes a beautiful sound when turning it on or off. The green is stunning with its stainless steel body. The easy button you press twice to switch the kettle on. The movable knob at the bottom will alter the temperature. Very happy it looks amazing in our kitchen. I've used this for several months and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's easy to fill and has markings inside every 500ml. The handle doesn't get hot while heating, the spout pours extremely well and you don't get either steam or water drops/spray anywhere you don't want it.
