I like the fact it’s a solid bed BUT you can’t place it right against the wall because the triangular roof part makes it stick out about five inches, meaning you lose a bit of space. Don’t know if you can see or not, but we didn’t put the trundle bed and drawers underneath; it would have made the bed too high for my 2.6yr old to get in and out of; we’ve simply put those bits in the loft for when she’s a bit taller! For now we’re just putting a spare mattress underneath for the occasions we need to sleep an extra person in her room (usually me when she’s poorly!) Instructions were fairly straight forward but would have been a real bonus if the added blocks for the height were down on the instructions first, rather than last after the rest of the heavy frame had been built. No missing bits and need three of us to put it together when the house part of the frame was going on- it’s a heavy old thing! I like that the house part can be taken off and left as a simple every day single bed; meaning it’ll last through the phases each age range is bound to bring in the future! Will be a lovely den for when my little girl grows older and adds bits herself. I wish I had been able to go and see this in a showroom because even though I did measure the room up, it’s still bigger And bulkier than I thought but like I said it’s very sturdy and solid.. I love the bed! Is very stable and good material. Why just 3 stars, even if i love the bed. Is not the first time when we bought and build furniture but this bed… no words how complicated was. The instructions doesn’t matter with the pieces not any number on the wood pieces to understand what and where goes same instructions in different page 6 page for the bed and not in order. Very very very disorganised , so that mean we spend 1000 time more to building up this beautiful bed. After I’ve realised that, on the time of the purchase, was 100£ fee to pay extra, for someone to come and build the bed for you … disappointed. And also THE DELIVERY!!! With that,if I can, I give 0 stars!!! The called me to say that will be delivered the 30m, but at work i dont have signal so after i’ve see the vocal message I’ve called back the driver and he just left my house and ive ask if i can come in 5 min home so if he can wait.whatsoever he said that will be delivered nex day(Saturday) so ive booked holidays so i can deliver the parcel and guess what THE DIDNT TURN UP, as they don’t work on Saturday. So I’ve called waytfair and they apologies ))) nothing else. So customer service so so disappointed, specially that I’ve explained the drive said will be delivered next day and also I’ve took a day of holiday just for receiving this bed.
