A great ceiling light, well made and well packaged. The fitting comes with an extra long pendant chain, (which can easily be shortened to suit your ceiling height). I wanted a large statement ceiling light for our hallway and ended up purchasing three! I purchased the antique brass as I wanted a slightly more classic look but I think it would work in a more contemporary home too, especially in the satin nickel. It is a heavy light fitting with the glass in place, so we fitted the light fitting first and then inserted the glass panels once the fitting was securely attached to the ceiling.. Ian.
