The flat packed arbour was fairly easy to construct, although assistance from another person (or a third hand!) would have been useful. It was fiddly to get the arch to form a neat circle and awkward to get the gates ‘balanced’ as they kept swinging open. This was possibly because the ground was not perfectly level. I solved both problems by selecting a raised patch of ground, on which the gates could rest. Prompt delivery by Wayfair-comes in 2 packages. The arch is fairly straight forward to erect and sturdy. Needs 2 people to lift into place. The arch is not high enough to bury posts into ground for support, I used 75x75mm bolted fence repair spikes (300mm) into the ground ( lawn) -the arch posts are approx 67mmx67mm square.. Adrian.
