Firstly, it is the incorrect size on the listing so I had to spend an age cutting it down to the size I wanted - oh and buying the cutters to do so. It is also really quite unstable because unlike normal gabions, this has no cage on the base so until it is filled it is definitely not rigid. Even when filled, the stones distorts the caging unless you are very careful. In the end I had to cross brace the tops of the gabion together and add an extra brace to the one supplied in the middle. I am also going to have to put a wooden surround on the top as the metal is very sharp. I was going to buy two of those but after the first one I lost the will to live. Linda.
