The futon mattress is good, maybe not the best colour, on unpacking there was an already a mark on the item. It's comfy especially to sleep on. The Futon Frame is disappointing really the frame looks cheap and belittles the mattress. I am glad I didn't purchase the same futon in a different colour which was significantly more expensive. It just arrived yesterday. Was easy to assemble, nothing was scratched, just some threads coming out of the sofa, but I’ve removed them. The only thing I didn’t anticipate was the gap between the upper part of the sofa and the wall, due to the back legs touching the wall. The legs are fixed, not retractable or something like this. Sofa is fab, looks great especially for the price. Super easy to change back and forth, Firm but comfortable. The only thing I would note about the sofa is there is a fair gap between the back and the wall because of the sofa bed element- to be expected but if that would annoy you then fair warning Unrelated to the item but beware the delivery is total potluck, I organised mine for a day I had arranged to be home all day and it arrived a day early when I was not home and was left for my elderly neighbour to struggle with. She had to call her daughter to help and then I had to get the daughters help to chuck the huge box over our fence and into my house.
