Our foodservice products, such as our cheeseboards and servicing trays, have been treated with acrylic lacquer. Our special acrylic lacquer completely seals the slate ensuring food safety and allows for ease of cleaning (only for few exclusive/finest products). To maintain the appearance of these items over time and hide scratches, a natural/cooking oil can be re-applied using a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not wash in the dishwasher; do not use with abrasive pan scrubs. Do not place in either a conventional or a microwave oven.
