Lovely looking bed. The headboard is a bit shorter than expected, however, looks lovely in our room. The bed also came with a QR code to scan with a video of the build, great touch! We think it’s great. It’s stable, sturdy, and looks good. And there’s a good amount of spaceheight underneath for storage. I was able to do the majority of the assembly on my own, but there were 1 or 2 steps that having a second person makes it significantly easier to do. Two negatives with it are With just a mattress on (double bed) it’s fairly easy to lift up, I (male) was able to raise and lift it with one arm right after setup, but once you add sheets, duvet, covers and pillows, it does make a significant difference and so now takes me two arms to lift and a fair bit of effort. My partner (female) isn’t able to lift it on her own. Other negative was, the parts don’t have labels which made assembly harder than it needed to be, with you having to guess which rod was being depicted in each stage of the instructions. This review is to give a 5 stars to Wayfair! The bed is excellent value for the price much better than one I paid a lot more for through a certain online discount group. You get exactly what it says - but you get a lot more because of Wayfair's excellent customer service. We had trouble with one of the gas lift pistons - unbeknown to us it was faulty but caused one of the side struts to completely bend. I contacted Wayfair, they took details the customer service rep gave me his direct email and a phone contact. I emailed him pictures of what had happened and they replied confirming the new parts were ordered and would be delivered. I was skeptical but shouldn't have been. Wayfair replaced the whole side of the bed, including a new white faux leather panel which we didn't expect but had been damaged by the piston failure. It has been replaced and works perfectly. This bed got delivered on the 7th of August, and it has been fine. The only thing is we just got a mattress delivered, and when we went to put it on the bed, there are now those weird stains on the wooden bits, tried to clean it up and wipe them but it won't come off, I have no idea what it is.
