Lovely lamp but too many little bits to assemble. Surely this could have been simplified. The two golden screws that hold the uplight in place are miniscule and kept dropping and getting lost. I could hear something rattling around inside the uplighter shade and ultimately had to dismantle the entire thing only to find theres a tiny little piece which should hold the led light cover in place but it had fallen out because the tiny screw that held that bit in place was missing. Overall took me half an hour of unnecessary fiddling about and I finally got it together with the bulbs in. Since there is a screw missing one of the holders for the build is just resting on the uplight and not screwed in. It hasnt affected the lighting and now that its all set up it looks gorgeous and Ive had a load of compliments on it.. Anonymous. . 2024-10-23 00:56:01

We are very happy with this product which gives an ideal warm light in the lounge. However, we must say it was a miracle that it arrived intact as the packaging of polystyrene disintegrated as we opened the parcel! Think perhaps water damage was to blame. (see photos). PEN. Looks attractive and well made, with a nice satin metal finish, and tall, which was exactly what I wanted. A bit tricky to assemble and fit bulbs (which aren't included). Only dimmable one I could get to fit the uplighter is a halogen, due to the size of the glass tube - the LED equivalent I had was too fat. The smaller lamp fits a dimmable LED G9 but it flickers a bit at high or low light. I don't think it's a fault with the lamp itself, just might not be suitable for LEDs.. Sara.
