We bought this cot bed as is very similar to SilverCross type and also will be growing with my child. The cot has 3 levels of high and then can be transformed into a toddler bed and later on even into the sofa. It was also very easy to assemble as all sides and base came in one piece. Not too sturdy but not too bad either for a baby to toddler its fine. U can use it as a new born baby next to me cot...initially i left one side off so i can easily reach baby from bed then i know i can put up the 4th side rail on too when baby can turn etc...you do get the extra slat to make it into bed for toddler like its shown in the description pic...also the mattress is quite thick i dint expect a baby mattress to b this thick and its quite good quality too.
