Sizewise the table is just right for my space. I am a 70-year-old female and found the table very easy to assemble, the instructions being simple to follow. The quality is good, but I feeel the description and photos of the table on the website are somewhat misleading. The surface of the table looks artificial in that it is not natural wood grain - it has been processed in some way to look segmented - rather like a laminate floor, with blocks of completely straight-lined panels in different shades - see photo. Perfect table to tone in with my mid century chairs. Very simple to build. The extending leaf and fixtures are already together you only have to attach the legs and it comes with the bolts and alan key. We had it up in 5 - 10 minutes so simple. When you open the packaging the underside of the table looms very light but don’t be put off as the legs and table top have a dark walnut stain, Its solid and a really great piece I have six chairs around it without it extending you could get 8 around it. I like the idea and the design of the table. I think is the most practical table I've ever seen. I bought the white gloss one. Is quite easy to extend it and make it back to one person. The hardest part was to ensemble. It took me personally 5 hours, alone. If you look at it overall, is nice and elegant. But if you look at the details, I am not sure what to say about the quality of the material, is not that great. I am saying because the gloss colour cracks quite easily at the edges. Found this as a cheaper dupe of a high street version. Beautiful- very heavy to put together though, took three of us to get the top onto the legs!
