I really like this bed it’s affordable, sturdy and stylish. It’s not too difficult to build, I put it together in about 1hr on my own. The head board came with small scratches and wayfair offered me discount if I was prepared to keep it which was fair of them. I added a solid base as I find slats can move and break. This review is to give a 5 stars to Wayfair! The bed is excellent value for the price much better than one I paid a lot more for through a certain online discount group. You get exactly what it says - but you get a lot more because of Wayfair's excellent customer service. We had trouble with one of the gas lift pistons - unbeknown to us it was faulty but caused one of the side struts to completely bend. I contacted Wayfair, they took details the customer service rep gave me his direct email and a phone contact. I emailed him pictures of what had happened and they replied confirming the new parts were ordered and would be delivered. I was skeptical but shouldn't have been. Wayfair replaced the whole side of the bed, including a new white faux leather panel which we didn't expect but had been damaged by the piston failure. It has been replaced and works perfectly. Love my new bed and it is a bargain! Came in a very narrow box which was rather alarming as couldn’t believe it could possibly contain a double bed. It was really easy to put together, but you do need a power screwdriver to affix the slats to the frame as there are no pre-drilled holes.
