As described. Does exactly what it should - heats up the room. It is quiet but as per any radiator: there will be occasional sounds of expansion (like mini bangs) when in use (especially over longer periods). That's the same as any normal radiator I have had in a house. No additional running noises at all so don't worry about that. One thing I find frustrating is that the panel with the display faces away from the remote control when the cable is fully extended (the remote needs a direct line of access to work). That means twisting the radiator around so the cable is much shorter. That seems silly. Perhaps future designs could think about this. Not a dealbreaker and very glad I bought this. Would buy again..
