The bed hasn’t been slept in yet, but it seems to be very sturdy, well made . The drawers are a great asset; they move freely, and appear to be well constructed. We bought this bed and mattress via Groupon and are pleased that we did as for the price it’s very comfortable and handy to store underneath. The only issues we had were that it wasn’t advertised that it was a self build so we were a bit surprised when it arrived and unfortunately the measurements were for the bed base and not the headboard (being the widest part) so it didn’t fit the original gap between our fitted wardrobes but after some tweaking we were able to make it fit. The bed and base are very sturdy the only negative is that we found the black sheeting provided to go beneath the base was a waste of time and haven’t used it, but we’re still able to store plenty underneath it just means that it’s sitting on the floor which isn’t a problem..
