Really impressed with the mattress up to now. I’ve owned it for a week and have slept much better than I did on my previous mattress. When I first lay on the bed it felt very firm and I was a little sceptical that I’d be able to sleep on it. Within seconds it moulded to my body shape and became very supportive and comfortable. The night time temperatures have been unusually high this last week but I’ve still slept well. I’d kept my old mattress in case I needed to return my Dormeo but I’m more than happy to get rid of it now. I know it’s only been a week but I’m more than happy with my new purchase. Was a bit skeptic on buying a mattress without testing in first but we were desperate for one and with the shops being closed due to covid, we took a chance. However I am please to say I am pleasantly surprised with this mattress, it’s is comfy and moulds to your body as has memory foam layer. Me and my partners sleep has been 100% better waking up without any aching legs or shoulders as we were before, it’s cool and comfortable. After seeing these on a shopping channel was sceptical, but urgently needed a new mattress. It was quite heavy to handle and came rolled up. The first thing I did after unrolling the mattress was put a glass of water in the middle of it, like they demonstrate on the tv, sat down on the bed and the glass of water didn't flinch. Very odd feeling sitting on it for the first time, it doesn't move and seems quite hard. I suffer with sciatica and a dodgy shoulder and can honestly say that this mattress appears to have helped; no aches when I wake up. There's no roll-together either (if that's what you're after). so it's great if one person is twice as heavy as the other! One thing I hate with traditional mattresses are the little buttons that fix the quilting, I don't know about you but I can always feel them, most uncomfortable. I’m really pleased with this orthopaedic mattress. You have to wait 48 hours for the harmless scent to dissipate in a well ventilated room so my first night on it was last night. Im 34 with all over rheumatoid arthritis and straight away my joints could feel how supportive it was. Even my hips & spine felt better aligned. In terms of firmness I’d say it’s on the firmer end of the medium-firm scale but this is what I needed to take pressure off my joints, particularly as a side sleeper and on my shoulders. I’ve also noticed today I woke up with no tension in my neck which genuinely hasn’t happened in many years. In terms of depth, I’m glad I went for a deeper mattress than my last one as I found sitting up and getting out of bed this morning was that bit easier. I’m really optimistic it will stand the test of time but the 10 year warranty (which is fantastic as when researching I noticed most offer a year or two) gives me great peace of mind. Price wise I’m very impressed. I’d highly recommend this mattress to anyone with a musculoskeletal condition whose a side sleeper and needs a lot of boxes ticked.. Samantha.
