After seeing these on a shopping channel was sceptical, but urgently needed a new mattress. It was quite heavy to handle and came rolled up. The first thing I did after unrolling the mattress was put a glass of water in the middle of it, like they demonstrate on the tv, sat down on the bed and the glass of water didn't flinch. Very odd feeling sitting on it for the first time, it doesn't move and seems quite hard. I suffer with sciatica and a dodgy shoulder and can honestly say that this mattress appears to have helped; no aches when I wake up. There's no roll-together either (if that's what you're after). so it's great if one person is twice as heavy as the other! One thing I hate with traditional mattresses are the little buttons that fix the quilting, I don't know about you but I can always feel them, most uncomfortable. I would give this more stars if I could! I have had a few spinal operations and I have lost count of the mattresses I have bought and still could not get a good nights sleep. When it comes to a mattress foam topper for a better nights sleep I always buy a decent thick one. I had a Dormeo years ago on a single bed. It was cheaper than buying a new single bed. After searching via different websites and reviews and of course prices. I thought this was value for money. This one was for my 6ft superking bed. The bed itself is approx a year old with a pillow top attached. However found both of us husband and i were still not getting a good nights sleep. He gets very warm in bed so the cool side of the topper attracted me . We have had this for several weeks. He does not get hot. We also get a good nights sleep.
