Delivery was a day earlier than expected. Bed itself is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. I have purchased several dog beds for my 10 yr old staffy that claim this and that but I nor my dog has been happy with them. Good quality mattress, comfortable and looks good too. the cover is tight to get on but it holds its shape really well. the cover is also water-resistant and is good enough that when my puppy knocked his bowl of water off the side of the crate the mattress insert was not wet at all. the cover washed nicely and looked good when put back on.. This is a fantastic bed! I did so much research to find the right bed to give my girl a comfortable space for her recovery after being spayed. She is a 30kg German Shepherd and I got the XL, as you can see from the photograph she has plenty of space to sprawl out, I have covered it with a blanket due to the op but it has such a lovely soft cover that is easily removed for washing.
