Love my new bed and it is a bargain! Came in a very narrow box which was rather alarming as couldn’t believe it could possibly contain a double bed. It was really easy to put together, but you do need a power screwdriver to affix the slats to the frame as there are no pre-drilled holes. I ordered this bedframe at 1145am on the 28.04.21 and it was delivered at 13:00pm on the 29.04.21 and fully assembled by 16:35pm by myself a lone middle aged female. The courier (panther warehousing) were amazing. From the time they took receipt of my item, right up until 15 minutes from delivery, they kept me informed as too where they were. Their time slot allocation was bang on!! I happen to love this bed. It was reasonably easy to assemble by myself (only a few swear words and temper tantrums thrown ) Once assembled the bed frame is really sturdy and solid. In hindsight I'd probably have been better advised to have a second person with with me, but it honestly wasn't that difficult for me on my own. The instructions are easy to follow. I would add though that whilst assembling, I did take note of a couple of discrepancies with manufacturing! None of which has distracted from the final finished article, and I am genuinely pleased with my purchase. 1) the dowels provided weren't big enough for the job provided. Luckily I had some spare from a previous DIY construction. Plus the use of PVA glue is a must!! Which I also had. 2) the spanner provided is tiny, making use difficult. The screws which are use to secure the side supports are quite difficult to access. From my own experience, put the bottom screw in 1st, and only slightly tighten before putting the top screws in place...alternating tightening. The colour is advertised as lacquered ivory, but it looks more light olive in daylight. This is genuinely a lovely product. I would highly recommend too anyone, and reasonably priced too . Rosemary. The bed arrived on time and great communication from Wayfair delivery department etc. Bed was assembled in just over an hour with just over half of that time putting the slats on.Finished result is excellent.
