As you can see my cat loves his shelf, he sleeps on it every night and loves having the higher perspective on the room where he feels safe and can see everything while being extra comfy!
The fabric on top is very soft and comfy and also detachable with Velcro for washing so that’s really good!
It’s built well and very sturdy, my only problem really was the size of the screws and wall plugs to attach it to the wall with. They were quite small and weak in my opinion but I tried them any way and after my cat got on it the first time they immediately pulled out of the wall. I then just used some more sturdy wall plugs I already had to attach it so it’s absolutely fine now and holds his weight well.
I’d say if you have a large cat it might be worth just taking those extra precautions in case it falls off the wall, my cats weighs about 6 pounds so he is a bit bigger than most but it’s nice and sturdy now. Its definitely worth having for your cat as they do love being up a bit higher, but again I think if your cat is any bigger than mine it might not be worth it as you can see he takes up quite a lot of it even when he’s curled up! Hope this helps :). Helena. Ware, GB. 2021-10-30 14:44:24
