An impressive garden bench in a classic British design made of solid, black lacquered cast iron. A stylish lion head decorates the left and right sides of the bench. The decking is made out of twelve sturdy, mahogany-coloured hardwood boards, which are easy to maintain. Cast iron exists in various levels of quality, which is measured by the density of the processed cast iron. The lesser the density, the lighter and wobblier is the product and the easier it can break. This bench offers a level of very high density and is therefore very sturdy and robust. The cast iron can be re-painted from time to time with metal paint. The wood should be treated with a commercially available coating, depending on the use and site of installation. The bench will be delivered in a carton and needs to be assembled. All fittings and instructions are included in the delivery and assembly will only take a couple of minutes.

The bench is self assembly but quite easy to put together and I did it on my own in about 20 minutes (and I'm over 60!) very comfortable and lots of room to sit on. Very sturdy. I wanted this for 2 years and always delayed the purchase until this summer. Great, sturdy, attractive bench which I love. Delivery was fast and very well boxed. Assembly was pretty easy and instructions if needed, but not required. Took approximately an hour to put together. Quite a substantial garden bench which has been used by my visitors. Very pleased.
