This review is to give a 5 stars to Wayfair! The bed is excellent value for the price much better than one I paid a lot more for through a certain online discount group. You get exactly what it says - but you get a lot more because of Wayfair's excellent customer service. We had trouble with one of the gas lift pistons - unbeknown to us it was faulty but caused one of the side struts to completely bend. I contacted Wayfair, they took details the customer service rep gave me his direct email and a phone contact. I emailed him pictures of what had happened and they replied confirming the new parts were ordered and would be delivered. I was skeptical but shouldn't have been. Wayfair replaced the whole side of the bed, including a new white faux leather panel which we didn't expect but had been damaged by the piston failure. It has been replaced and works perfectly. Nice looking albeit low bed, assembly was simple enough until we got to pressurised arms that lift bed up and down - were ridiculously hard to push down, spent 2 days hammering it and googling ways, thought it was faulty and about to return when one very hard push made the arms go down. Now it's fine, but closing the bed is bit of a nightmare for one small person, my sister literally has to use full bodyweight to close it. This bed got delivered on the 7th of August, and it has been fine. The only thing is we just got a mattress delivered, and when we went to put it on the bed, there are now those weird stains on the wooden bits, tried to clean it up and wipe them but it won't come off, I have no idea what it is. Very nice bed overall, is sturdy and works. However, one of the side boards was missing the two threaded brass inserts for attaching to the foot board (with M8 bolts and small brackets), plus three positioning labels were also missing from each side board. Not particularly wanting to return the packages, I took a risk by attempting to fix this myself (presumably you would have refused to take it back once I'd tampered), by carefully screwing M10 bolts spaced with a nut into the wooden holes (which were present beneath the black fabric, which I had to rip with a blade), hoping they would create threads and bite. Fortunately this worked and the problem was overcome. Photos attached show the differences in the boards (one board has the threaded inserts allowing the brass M8 allen bolts to be used, the other lacks the holes, so the bracket is fixed in place to the side board with steel M10 bolt and nut instead), plus also the finished bed, which otherwise had no problems.
