Using their own recipes bread is nice but dense. Other recipes don't work on the settings. That would be ok if there were more recipes with it. As it's German I can't get help with it. I’ve just tried using this item but baking first time with ready made bread formula did not bake well. I tried with the recipe the result is disappointing . The bread rose but remain solid and soggy. I’ll try again and the third time it does not work I wtll return it. The bread loaf did not raise and I’ve had to throw all following loafs. Hard on the outside and soggy inside. Absolutely love it! I’ve been looking for a bread bin since we got a new kitchen 16 months ago but needed one that would fit the exact space, one that opens down but still leaves a space for the bread board, and one that we could store the butter and stuff on top of. Must have looked at thousands in all these months Finally found this one the other day and ordered. Came earlier and I managed to put it together no problem (I’m quite used to flat packs but it may seem a little daunting to non DIY-ers at first as there are quite a lot of little parts - just make sure to follow each step and you’ll have no problems!)
