My previous bed had been broken for a while but finally collapsed so I needed a new bed ASAP. I needed a single bed that had the weight capacity of at least 118 kilos and I wanted a nice stylish bed. I really liked this coppery looking one but was a bit nervous to get it as my bedroom is small and I thought a white bed might look better in a small room but this bed really stuck with me. There was no info about the weight capacity on the website but I called and the two people I spoke to were so helpful and friendly and were able to find out for me that it takes up to 150 kilos. They also froze the sale price for me to give me time to think about it but I’d made up my mind and bought the bed. It arrived two days later and I constructed it with my sister. It was uncomplicated to put together and I found the instructions clear. It needed the two of us to do it together but someone who’s especially skilled and proficient in DIY and large furniture construction could do it by themselves I think - but not me! The parts were really heavy. I love my bed, it looks fantastic in my room and not bulky like I imagined. It’s become the feature of my room and is strong and stylish. I’m extremely happy with it. I absolutely LOVE this bed frame. I have wanted a Victorian-style bed frame for so long but the only other one I found which I really liked was £200 more expensive than this one. I was a bit concerned that once received it, it wouldn't live up to my expectations but it exceeded them twice over. I am sooooo pleased with it and it compliments the colour scheme in my bedroom perfectly which is very calming and inviting and I love being in it. Strangely, my colour scheme is not dissimilar to the picture. One of my concerns was the colour of the frame and whether it would be what i wanted. It is slightly darker than i thought it would be and it's very smooth. It actually works better being a little darker and there is nothing on the frame to catch the mattress (also brand new and very expensive) or the duvet - I have a king size on the double bed frame so there is a lot of overhang. It slots between the mattress and the foot stead without any problem and because the frame is totally smooth with no bad welds, there is nothing for the duvet to snag on. The instructions for putting the bed together state two people required but I did this on my own. I just needed to support the two long edges until they were fitted to the bed head and foot stead but once they were together it was really very easy and didn't take long to complete. Finally, if you are concerned about the rigidity of the bed frame put your mind at rest; it's very solid, so if you are looking for something which is not too expensive and looks really classy, look no further..
