The quality is undeniable - but please note! I bought this, along with matching pillowcases and fitted sheet, there is no doubt that the quality is 'top notch!' The platinum colour is superb, and looks like silk - but just be aware that these are really heavy and stiff. It doesn't matter about the sheets and pillowcases, because you are obviously on top of them, but being under the duvet cover doesn't make for the most comfortable nights sleep. Because it's so thick, it doesn't hug your body like those with a lesser thread count. In hindsight, I wish I'd opted for a cheaper 300-600 thread count. But each to their own!
