Really lovely when finished but be warned. DONT FOLLOW THE FIRST STEPS OF INSTRUCTIONS. They say to put side and middle strips on then balance other side on top, but it’s to wobbly. Then they say to stand up but everything snaps because the back isn’t on. I recommend build like a wardrobe with face down then put back on BEFORE standing up. We ended up having to patch ours up with screws on the outside. Also you build near to where you want it only to have to pull out with a lot of help as VERY VERY heavy. Then move back into position. Design could be better so springs are put on from inside. Also hanging front on is ackward as you have to support it while trying to get bolts in. Lovely when finished. I’m really pleased with this orthopaedic mattress. You have to wait 48 hours for the harmless scent to dissipate in a well ventilated room so my first night on it was last night. Im 34 with all over rheumatoid arthritis and straight away my joints could feel how supportive it was. Even my hips & spine felt better aligned. In terms of firmness I’d say it’s on the firmer end of the medium-firm scale but this is what I needed to take pressure off my joints, particularly as a side sleeper and on my shoulders. I’ve also noticed today I woke up with no tension in my neck which genuinely hasn’t happened in many years. In terms of depth, I’m glad I went for a deeper mattress than my last one as I found sitting up and getting out of bed this morning was that bit easier. I’m really optimistic it will stand the test of time but the 10 year warranty (which is fantastic as when researching I noticed most offer a year or two) gives me great peace of mind. Price wise I’m very impressed. I’d highly recommend this mattress to anyone with a musculoskeletal condition whose a side sleeper and needs a lot of boxes ticked.. Samantha. The bed itself is good quality although one of the drawers was in pieces. Please be aware if you want use the trundle bed then you need to buy two mattresses not one as described in the requirements. That is deceiving. I was told this is because not everyone uses the trundle as a bed, but the description says trundle bed, which sounds like the whole bed to me. Apart from that it looks good..
