Lovely looking bed. The headboard is a bit shorter than expected, however, looks lovely in our room. The bed also came with a QR code to scan with a video of the build, great touch! This review is to give a 5 stars to Wayfair! The bed is excellent value for the price much better than one I paid a lot more for through a certain online discount group. You get exactly what it says - but you get a lot more because of Wayfair's excellent customer service. We had trouble with one of the gas lift pistons - unbeknown to us it was faulty but caused one of the side struts to completely bend. I contacted Wayfair, they took details the customer service rep gave me his direct email and a phone contact. I emailed him pictures of what had happened and they replied confirming the new parts were ordered and would be delivered. I was skeptical but shouldn't have been. Wayfair replaced the whole side of the bed, including a new white faux leather panel which we didn't expect but had been damaged by the piston failure. It has been replaced and works perfectly. I was trying to give it 4 1/2 stars! The delivery was quick. The packing was good though slightly scruffy. However, the bed itself wasn't damaged. I am not handy at all so I got a handy man in to put it together. He took a good 2-2:30 hrs. At the end of it all, I have a lovely bed which is just the right height for me. I am guessing , but I think it would be the right height for my 80 yr old mom as well. Why I want to drop half a start is cause of the base. Good, solid bed frame with easy to access ottoman storage. Assembly took me about 3 hours on my own, it will take a lot less time for 2 people. My bed had the head board posts missing. One phone call to Wayfair customer services and the correct posts arrived less than 24 hours later, even though the customer services representative said that it may take up to a week.. A.
