Perfect table to tone in with my mid century chairs. Very simple to build. The extending leaf and fixtures are already together you only have to attach the legs and it comes with the bolts and alan key. We had it up in 5 - 10 minutes so simple. When you open the packaging the underside of the table looms very light but don’t be put off as the legs and table top have a dark walnut stain, Its solid and a really great piece I have six chairs around it without it extending you could get 8 around it. Sizewise the table is just right for my space. I am a 70-year-old female and found the table very easy to assemble, the instructions being simple to follow. The quality is good, but I feeel the description and photos of the table on the website are somewhat misleading. The surface of the table looks artificial in that it is not natural wood grain - it has been processed in some way to look segmented - rather like a laminate floor, with blocks of completely straight-lined panels in different shades - see photo. The table and style itself is very nice and original. The delivery was a nightmare. The parcel was impossible to track and ended up being in transit for a week. I’m not sure if this is a result of this, but the legs of the table were not very well protected and turned up battered with lots of scruffs and scratches.
