I must say I was surprised when we received this and put it together. For the price, it's very reasonable and solid. Pretty difficult to build, the pieces don't fit together all that well and the instructions are very unclear. Worth it though, the cage is a great size and it easily fits in my 28cm Syrian-sized wheel. This hamster cage wasn’t the easiest to assembly, I think the instructions could be more clear and better labelled. The door at the front only has one latch, which didn’t feel secure, so my brother made me another one. The cage is an excellent size, you can fit lots of bedding if you don’t put the second shelf in. Arrived with a small dent and crack on the bases but was able to push it back into place and doesn’t spoil any of its functionality. A little fiddly to put together but size wise it’s really good. Our Syrian hamster loves exploring the tunnels. Have tried to make sure all areas are secure and the tunnels are fixed as I wasn’t convinced I’d put them together right But overall we like it, my daughter and her hamster are happy.. Zoe.
