Very disappointed with wardrobe and customer service. All the joints are open, I've been waiting for replacement parts that should have been here by now. I've had no emails saying why . It’s a decent wardrobe apart from the fact that the doors are so difficult to put on when tightening the screws so that the door doesn’t scratch the bottom when opening and closing them. VERY spacious! I couldn’t believe how spacious this wardrobe actually is. I’ve moved into a small bedroom so I decided to go for it imagining it would be a small wardrobe, to my surprise it fits the bill and no complaints on the look, space and size! It looks very smart, eye catching and modern. I love that you can actually stand inside the wardrobe to find what you want. I think motion lights inside would compliment this wardrobe. Plenty of storage below, a small shoe rack would probably fit in there. Definitely a two person job, pretty much impossible to put this up alone. My complaint is the back board and nails provided. On the instructions it shows you to nail the nails into the backboard and into the shelves. The nails are so tiny I struggled to actually hammer the nails in. I also missed a shelf and took a bad chunk out of it as I tried to follow the instructions as best as possible. So in the end I have only put four nails on each corner and the backboards. It is now bowing because my clothes have pushed the backboard needs the nails into the shelves to prevent this. (I just couldn’t do it and may not be the case for others but may be helpful information to you review readers). I would probably have gone for a honey coloured pine if one had been available but the one thing I have worked out is that pine is not popular anymore and I wanted something to go with furniture I bought back in 2002. If I could have found something preassemled I would have but this was the best I could do under the circumstances. It is solid wood and a good price for what it is. It is also fairly easy to assemble. I am quite pleased with it now it’s up, but I was cursing in the middle of building it because some of the screws are at bit of an odd angle. I’m hoping a coat of beeswax will yellow it off a bit. On the whole I’m pretty pleased with it. I also bought a vestry cupboard to go with it.. Anonymous. . 2023-07-13 18:12:22
